The most widely used amorphous alloys are soft magnetic materials. The so-called soft magnetic materials refer to magnetic materials with low coercivity and high magnetic permeability, which are easy to be magnetized and reversed. Common soft magnetic materials include silicon steel, slope Mo alloy, magnetic core, ferrite and amorphous, nanocrystalline soft magnetic materials. Compared with traditional metal magnetic materials, iron-based amorphous alloys have high magnetic permeability and low loss, and can replace traditional silicon steel and permalloy to make transformer cores, motor cores, reactors, transformers, sensors, etc.
The use of amorphous alloys can greatly improve the efficiency of the transformer, reduce the iron loss of the distribution transformer by 60~70%, and reduce the volume and weight at the same time. 30~60% of the power grid loss in my country comes from the transformer loss, and the power grid loss is reduced by 1%, which can save about 36 billion kWh of electricity every year. The State Grid has clearly required that more than 60% of the newly added distribution transformers must use amorphous alloy iron core transformers.
Compared with traditional crystalline alloys, the internal atomic arrangement of amorphous alloys is short-range ordered and long-range disordered. While having good mechanical properties, they also have high resistivity and magnetic permeability, and are resistant to Corrosion, wear resistance, high hardness, high strength characteristics. The current application of amorphous materials is mainly based on their excellent soft magnetic properties, and has been widely used in power electronics, computers, network technology, communications, military and other fields.
Compared with crystalline materials, amorphous alloys do not have defects such as dislocations, stacking faults, and grain boundaries.Gold exhibits special mechanical properties such as extremely high breaking strength and hardness.
Amorphous alloys have excellent properties and have important applications in the field of transformers. Amorphous alloy transformers use amorphous alloy materials to replace traditional silicon steel sheets to manufacture transformers. Its outstanding feature is low ferromagnetic loss.
